BCBA Clinical Supervisor Job Description - Part-Time (10-25 hours/week)

 

We are currently in the beginning stages of growing our company to provide the best ABA services for our families! A great opportunity for those interested in making  meaningful contributions as we are continuously looking for ways to improve our ABA company. We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, well-spoken BCBA Clinical Supervisor to join our team! The responsibilities include observing and interacting with patient behavior, responding to behavioral problems with effective interventions, communicating with the parents and behavior therapists, collecting ongoing data on digital platform, writing treatment plans and assessments, supporting social skills training, providing in-person training to behavior therapists, and keeping detailed records of therapy sessions. 

 

Successful candidates will have a Master’s degree in Psychology or similar education , at least 2 years of experience, have a current active certification of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a proven ability with children and parents. 

 

BCBA Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Observing and implementing ABA principles with patients in the home, community, school, and/or clinic setting.

  • Seeking interventions for behavioral and developmental challenges.

  • Educating patients and their parents in helpful activities.

  • Conducting RBT assessments with behavior therapists.

  • Train parents and behavior therapists on ABA principles 

  • Recognizing critical improvements in patient behaviors.

  • Participates in-service training sessions by staying up-to-date with the latest ABA-related information, techniques, and developments.

  • Keeping detailed records in the implementation of treatment plans and the effectiveness of programs, and making updates based on data.

  • Implement strategies for maladaptive behaviors.

  • Willing and open into providing and receiving constructive feedback.

  • Perform other responsibilities designated by the management team, HR director, and CEO. 

  • Any other duties assigned by the clinical team and/or HR department

 

BCBA Clinical Supervisor’s Requirements:

  • Minimum Master’s degree in psychology or related field, and a currently active certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Experience working with children ages 2 to 18-years-old, preferable children with autism and other developmental disorders.

  • Committed in making impactful changes to the lives of our families and children.

  • Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.

  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, parents and staff.

  • Read, interpret, and apply rules, regulations and policies as directed by the management team.

  • Possess a valid California driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

  • Possess an active CPR and first aid certification. 

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with DOJ and FBI regulations when working with children.

 

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Home, community, school, and/or clinic environment, subject to interruptions; subject to driving to various locations to conduct work. The noise level in the environment may range from quiet to loud, depending upon activity.

  • While performing the duties it is required to regularly stand, walk, run, sit and talk, or listen.

  • The BCBA clinical supervisor will be required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

  • The BCBA clinical supervisor may have to deal with students who display aggressive behavior to self and others, as well as support patients with toileting needs which can include, but not limited to, changing diapers and cleaning.
