The Education team works on various projects from K-12 to higher education. As the Designer I, you will…
- Provide BIM/CAD support to project teams; produce BIM/CAD drawings as assigned from sketches, verbal instructions, or notes from project leads.
- Provide non-BIM/CAD computer software support to project teams.
- Demonstrate an understanding of plans, sections, and elevations.
- Become familiar with terms inherent in building design and construction.
- Understand and exhibit time management skills and complete tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Assist with project administration in direct support of the project team.
- Learn and adhere to The Lionakis Way standards of design, quality control, and production.
- Conduct project research as directed.
- Develop presentation materials to support project teams on marketing efforts.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and collaborative.
- Assist project team and market/studio leadership with other duties that may be assigned.
Designer I Qualifications – The Must-Haves (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Designer I Qualifications – The Like-to-Haves (Not Required)
- Architectural internship experience
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
- Proficiency with BIM/Revit
- Proficiency with Sketch-Up or other 3D program(s)
