Job Description

You'll lead overall product vision, product strategy, and product development at LF. To be successful in this role, you must be data-driven, have a desire to teach and coach a team to build successful products, and have an appetite for solving difficult problems.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology with at least 5+ years as a VP, director, product manager, product owner, or closely related role, with leading products through initial launch to a business at scale
  • Experience defining end-to-end product mission, strategy, and roadmap to successful achievement of the business goals.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Open Source Technology market with a deep emphasis on developer technologies including Developer ecosystems, Tool Chains, etc
  • A track record of effectively managing, mentoring, growing, and supporting a team of Product Managers and Product Designers.
  • Background and understanding in delivering Security, Data Analytics, AI, and ML-based products
  • Software experience with Google Apps, JIRA, Confluence, and Product tools.
  • Define and execute product-led growth strategies and tactics to maximize monetization of the LFX product. Work cross-functionally across LFX to ensure shared and clear priorities, and excellent execution against priorities

  • Partner effectively with Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing to ensure we validate, build, launch, and measure product experiences that customers love and value
  • Identify opportunities and requirements for product changes, including defining the customer problems, key opportunities, and customer segments to prioritize.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our industry, users, and target customer base in order to clearly articulate their pain points, challenges, and needs.
  • Ensure the right processes are in place to maximize the speed and quality of execution for all of the product organization's teams. Proactively identify and solve execution issues and change the people and processes necessary within your control to efficiently deliver products.
  • Drive competitive analysis, industry research, and customer analysis to improve LFX's products continuously.
  • Guide user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design based on inputs from customers, internal, and external resources, and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with our CTO to ensure strong alignment and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering.
