Job Description

The Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation andservice of all cold food products to include salads and desserts forpatients and employees of LTBHS. RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general educationdegree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; orequivalent combination of education and experience.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and dealwith a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limitedstandardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety ofinstructions when furnished in written, oral diagram, or scheduleform.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability towrite simple correspondence. Ability to effectively presentinformation in one-on-one and small group situations to customers,clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbersand to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Abilityto perform these operations using units of American currency, weightmeasurement, volume, and distance.
