Contract provides support to EPA’s Regions 1, 2 and 3 and their onsite IT support requirements: The tasks covered under the contract include;

Description: The Region 1 Multimedia Video Production Specialist shall have direct experience coordinating all logistical support to shoot, direct, and produce environmental; videos. Specialist will work with EPA to create and modify various audio-visual deliverables as needed by EPA in support of its mission goals. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Responsive, ability to work under pressure to meet project schedules. Attention to detail and quality.
Scope/Daily Job Responsibilities/Position Overview:
EPA ECHO Multimedia Video Production Specialist – Boston, MA
Provide multimedia support to EPA that will include the creation and the modification of various audio-visual deliverables
Creation and editing of both still and video photography
Creation of video and audio pod casts
Content management of EPA’s video infrastructure and the collaboration with various EPA offices internal and external to the regions regarding the creation, artistic design, editing and management of multimedia content that is in support of the office’s mission goals.
Manage the content of presentation material posted to video hosting platforms such as digital signage infrastructure and internet/intranet web pages, on demand content, live broadcast streams, an asset library (i.e. pod casts) and the streaming of select cable news stations.
Make design recommendations for the look of the multimedia layout periodically with the goal of maximizing the effectiveness of message delivery.
Provide for both the creation and management of content on various multimedia systems.
Work closely with the COR and EPA to ensure correct information is displayed at the various locations.
Work closely with the Agency’s Headquarters (HQ) Office of Multimedia content.
Work closely with regional public affair offices in their effort to create multimedia content to meet the needs of the local office.
Provide support in the upkeep and maintenance of all multimedia machines and equipment.
Make artistic enhancements as necessary, edits to increase the effectiveness of message delivery as well as edits providing for regulatory requirements of the multimedia element.
Ensure work products meet all regulatory requirements including FCC and NTSC standards for broadcast and online distribution as well as the Federal Section 508 that sets standards for the incorporation of assistive elements in multimedia content for the handicapped.
Make aesthetic enhancements to a deliverable when necessary through the use of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite CC, Camtasia and other media editing tools. Multimedia deliverables should be usable on their intended platform/s of use which may include the QuickTime player, Windows Media Player and other office infrastructure platforms to name a few examples.
Provide training to EPA staff as part of Agency-wide initiatives. Campaigns may require the contractor to capture video clips while in the field, training to others on proper filming techniques, as well as meet standards set forth by the regional communications offices and Headquarters.
Provide guidance and be available for consultation in local office audio/visual projects.
Consult staff in improving A/V presentations and assist in the setup of largescale A/V projects and events.
Support maintenance, updating, providing preventative maintenance, checks and services of all multimedia equipment; video cameras, digital cameras, cables, lighting, microphones, tripods, and video editing software and hardware.
Maintain sign-out logs and procedures for EPA staff to use equipment such as video cameras, still-cameras, tripods, and related multimedia gear.
Ensure staff are well equipped for their needs and that their equipment is in good working order before signed out, and when signed in.
Responsible for organizing, designing, producing, and maintaining all video products in accordance with established EPA guidelines and templates.
Organize work, ensure that deadlines are met.
Provide graphic design support and a full range of print materials.
Minimum Required Skills:
7+ years of industry experience in Premier Pro
5+ years of in-depth working experience with After Effects, Camtasia, and Subtitle Workshop, Adobe Creative Suite CC, QuickTime player, Windows Media Player
Overall 10+ years of experience providing multimedia
Excellent communication skills
