Background: The History Division (HD) was started shortly after the Agency itself was established over fifty years ago. It serves two key functions: widely disseminating aerospace information to scholars, students and the general public and helping government agency managers to understand and learn from past successes and failures. Thus, the History Division has both internal and external audiences. The contractor shall maintain the Historical Reference Collection in the Archives Office within the HD. This contract staffs the Archives Office to provide archival support in the following areas: acquisitions, appraisal, arrangement and description, reference and access, digitization and preservation of historical materials.
Position Overview: The contractor should be able to multitask and have customer service skills in person and over the phone.
Minimum Required Skills:
- Four years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Able to use IT hardware/software to perform assigned tasks at a proficient level
- Comfortable working with the public in-person and over the phone
- Experience answering multi-phone line in a busy office
Core Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
