Snowmass Village now has its own Limelight Hotel. Comprised of 99 hotel rooms and 11 residences, the hotel also offers ski in/ski out access in winter and close-to-the-gondola access in summer — all right in the heart of Snowmass Base Village.

Job Description

Position Summary & Objective
Serve food and beverage in a timely, friendly and professional manner according to established standards and procedures. Responsible for station assigned; prepares hot and cold foods for the breakfast restaurant according to management specifications and for catered events as required. Additionally focusing on our guests and maintaining the restaurant to the cleanest standards. Greet guests, bus tables, wash dishes, prepare food, put food orders away while rotating stock.

Service Standards
Eye contact should be made at a distance of no less than 10 feet from every guest.
A genuine smile should be offered at a distance of no less than 5 feet from every guest.
Employees should build rapport with guests during any conversation, if the guest responds to the initial statement with a conversational demeanor.
Guest last name is used effectively, but discreetly, as a signal of recognition as least once and not more than twice during any conversation with guests.
Before concluding conversations, the guest is verbally offered additional assistance with a statement relevant to the guest’s individual needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up breakfast each morning by 7:00amEnsure all food stuffs are well stocked during breakfast hours: 7:00am – 10:00amClean Lounge and Breakfast area throughout breakfast serviceBus all dirty dishes as guests leave their tablesSweep and vacuum Lounge during breakfast service as well as after breakfast has been taken downWipe down all tables and the breakfast buffet area during breakfast service as well as after breakfast has been taken downSet up breakfast area for the day time set upClean all breakfast dishes and restock as necessaryClean Room Service kitchen at the end of breakfastClean refrigerators as neededReport to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the Employee Resource Guide

Qualifications

Education, Experience & Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous health club experience preferred
Previous retail sales experience preferred
Communication skills
Good people skills with people of all ages
Ability to deal with a diversity of individuals
English is preferred



Additional Information

Working Conditions:
Able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds
Standing, walking, lifting, bending during entire shift
