Lighting Maintenance Inc (“LMI”) seeks experienced Lighting Technicians with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with bucket truck operation, lighting and sign repair. The person we seek will work out of our Maryland office. Daily routine consists of receiving work orders via tablet, driving to location and performing repairs. Candidate must be capable of troubleshooting electrical problems within a lighting or sign system. Possible work environments include shopping centers, office buildings, or industrial complexes,. Lighting/Sign systems include Metal Halide, Sodium Vapor, Fluorescent, Neon, LED, and Induction. Overtime is available

Up to a $2,500.00 Sign on Bonus


  • Licenses — Current drivers licenses and have own transportation
  • Certified— Bucket truck operation or (5 yrs experience)
  • Education — High school Graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent training
  • Electrical experience — (Commercial or Industrial)
  • Computer- able to use Microsoft Office, Outlook, smart phone, and tablet
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Able to work well on a team
  • Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill

Working Conditions:

  • Job requires working in both heat and cold.
  • Able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, overtime as required.
