Job Description

National Property Management Company is seeking experienced and professional Rehab Technicians for an apartment complex in Arlington, TX. If you have construction experience and are looking for FT work, Lighthouse is the place.

We are looking for a candidate who can be responsible for and perform the following duties:

  • Assist with tile installation, light plumbing, some appliances, boilers, heaters, door locks, drywall, painting, some carpentry, counter installation, electrical components and any other tasks related to preparing units for occupancy.
  • Perform general cleaning and detailing of the exterior of the property and the common areas.
  • Walk the property and grounds, including, but not limited to, picking up trash, painting walls, floors and curbs, sweeping, mopping, assist in moving appliances and furniture, cleaning maintenance supplies and changing light bulbs.
  • Possess own tools and reliable transportation.
  • Inspect the property and report deficiencies to supervisor.
  • Collaborate with supervisor in the scheduling of vacant units for refurbishing and occupancy.
  • Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
  • Implement and/or follow preventative maintenance programs for the property and specific equipment guidelines.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-pace environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Possess strong customer service skills and exemplary work ethic.
  • Comply with safety regulations to avoid injury to self and others.
  • Keep supervisor fully informed with both verbal and written communication, including but not limited to the feasibility of calling outside maintenance and requisitioning the purchase of required materials.
  • Other various duties as assigned or requested.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years in construction or apartment maintenance.
  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, masonry, A/C, and carpentry preferred

This position is full time and will be eligible for benefits, including major medical, dental, vision, paid vacation and sick days, after an initial 90-day introductory period.
