Medical Laboratory Scientist

Lighthouse Lab Services is working with a large health care system located near New Orleans, LA. We are looking for Medical Technologists, New Grads welcome, to join the Core Lab department. We have all shifts available with rotating weekends.

Primary Responsibilities;

- Perform daily testing

- Ensure compliance with CAP/CLIA regulations

- Uses and maintains equipment and instruments used in test performance, documents quality controls, performs minor troubleshooting, and maintains clean work area.

- Calculates, reports, and records test results. Analyzes results for critical values and reports results immediately.

- Prepares reagents, maintains an adequate supply of materials for test procedures and manages inventory.

- Completes required daily procedures and checks that equipment is maintained in good working order.

- Ensures work area is cleaned stocked and organized daily.

- Follows established general safety procedures and utilizes PPE appropriately.

Preferred Profile;

- MLS(ASCP) certified

- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or science

- New Grads Welcome to apply!

- LA state license

Benefits and Salary;

- $21-40/hour depending on experience

- 10k sign on bonus with 2 year commitment
