Laboratory Technician -- TEMP

Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to represent a laboratory in Jacksonville, FL that is looking for a Temp Lab Technician for a 12–13-week assignment.

Position Overview:

1. To perform wet bench process to establish and validate LDT assay for start-up laboratory.
2. Draft SOP for all procedures performed and validated and be familiar with clinical laboratory regulations.
3. Maintain daily and monthly function check of lab equipment.
4. Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs to be developed by the laboratory director.
5. Experience in DNA extraction, enzyme digestion, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, Microarray and Nucleic acid quantification is required.
6. Previous experience working in a start-up laboratory is preferred.

Candidate Profile:

• Associates Degree in Science or higher
• ASCP/ABB board certified in Molecular Biology and Florida State License (eligible)
• 2-3 years of experience
