Business is great! We are looking to bring on new technicians to install Radon Mitigation Systems. No direct experience necessary- we will train everybody regardless of experience. General tradesman/handyman experience is a definite plus (plumbing,HVAC, piping, construction, etc) and a positive attitude, good customer service and professionalism is a must. Technician must have own transportation to and from the shop (Van/ gas will be provided to and from job sites). Therefore, a clean driving record is required.
Radon systems are environmental venting systems that involve running PVC piping from the basement to up above the roofline and mounting specialized radon fans. On a general basis, the technician will be installing and servicing these Radon Mitigation Systems in residential homes throughout Wisconsin. Each installation takes 2-4 hours to install, therefore each tech is given around 2 jobs per day.
Qualifications And Skills:
Ability to lift at least 75 pounds
General understanding of power tool usage
Ability to climb ladders/ work on rooftops
Willingness to work in all kinds of weather conditions
Ability to work in occasional crawl spaces
Good communication/ customer relations
Ability to work well with others
Paid holidays and paid vacation after 1 year employment.
