Quality Engineer

Lifecore has a manufacturing Quality Engineer role available. This individual will lead activities for assigned commercial medical device or pharmaceutical product lines and/or quality system processes to ensure finished product meets quality standards and client expectations. They will perform and review root cause investigations; use quality engineering concepts to monitor, support and critically review changes or issues to existing product lines, manufacturing processes and equipment and assigned quality system processes.

This is a hybrid role, with the option to work in the office or remotely depending on your day's schedule.

In this critical role you will:

• Lead, support, and approve root cause investigations for nonconforming product and facilitate corrective/preventive actions
• Provide quality engineering support for product line and/or critical process
• Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Establish and monitor trending or other process capability data for systems/processes/products
• Facilitate or participate in risk analysis (e.g. FMEA) for quality system process, production process or product changes
• Perform finished product disposition

This position could be a great fit for you if you have a passion for problem solving, and the following:

• BS in Engineering or Life Sciences
• 2-5 years' experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering in an FDA regulated industry
• Background in biology and/or chemistry production processes a strong plus!
