LifeSafer, Inc. is the leading manufacturer, distributor, and service provider of Ignition Interlock (IIDs) and Portable Alcohol Monitoring (PAM) Devices. Ignition Interlocks are installed in a vehicle and measure the alcohol in the driver's breath, only allowing them to start the vehicle if their breath alcohol content is below a set point. LifeSafer Ignition Interlock helps to save lives by limiting one's ability to drink and drive. Our Portable Alcohol Monitoring device is a 24-hour alcohol monitoring system that moves with the user and helps maintain abstinence through our reliable and proven technology.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Director of IID Business Development, is tasked with driving new revenue growth for both Portable Alcohol Monitoring and Ignition Interlock Devices. The position will develop and implement business planning with organizations and entities including channel partner networks, national industry organizations, drug and dwi courts, probation, pre-trial services, treatment and assessment organizations, and attorney networks. This role will work to identify relevant stakeholders across targeted organizations, build rapport and seek to understand what requirements are needed to secure a commercial relationship. The position will require internal cross functional communication and planning with relevant teams to ensure success.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

  • Collaborates with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic IID goals for the organization
  • Identifies and reviews market trends; analyzes and applies this information in development of strategies for individual market segments
  • Monitors business climate, trends in technology and development, and government activity in areas of the company's current and anticipated product lines
  • Leads new IID business growth initiatives, pilot programs, new markets, and regional rollouts
  • Collaborates with regional teams and managers to produce business and product plans that are profitable; evaluates these plans on a periodic basis
  • Serves as account executive to distributors, IID consultants, and PAS International
  • IID Sales Pipeline Management
  • Primary point of contact for national IID organizations and participate in industry conferences, trade exhibits, networking events, and other public speaking opportunities to continually promote and provide education about our products and services
  • Develop business relationships with essential channel partners, industry organizations, court, attorney, probation, pretrial probation, motor vehicle, monitoring agencies, and alcohol treatment programs to promote our products and drive preference
  • Working knowledge of the RFP/RFQ process, including timing, requirements and stakeholders
  • Assigned strategic target areas for growth in key markets
  • Work closely with relevant cross functional teams to share competitive intelligence, industry trends, and IID sales strategies
  • This role will report to the Chief Revenue Officer


EDUCATION:

  • 4 year degree preferred
  • Relationship Management experience preferred
  • Experience with court systems including attorneys, probation programs, treatment facilities or related.
  • Experience with forming partnerships or involvement in acquisitions preferred
  • High level of business acumen required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

* High level of business acumen required

* Willingness to travel up to 50%
