Experienced Veterinary Technician

Seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our AAHA accredited small animal veterinary hospital is looking for a professional, self-motivated, responsible candidate who is interested in providing high quality medical care to our community's pets. Certification/licensure is desired but not required. 1 year Experience Required but 2 years Preferred with working in a veterinary hospital.

Expected job abilities include:

• Pet Restraint,
• Collecting, processing and interpreting lab samples.
• Client Communication,
• Filling medications
• Taking radiographs
• Being competent in computer data entry for electronic medical records.
• Preferred abilities in surgical monitoring and assistance, venipuncture, catheter placement, administering injections and knowledge of preventative care such as vaccines and heartworm preventatives, are desired.
