Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (“CSR”) to join our team and assist our customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, responding to any complaints relating to their policy and other inquiries they may have. 

Customer Service Representatives are the front line of support for our customers and it's very important for CSRs to maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers at all times. Having a thorough knowledge of the terms and conditions of each type of Protection Plan provided by Liberty Home Guard is important, as this will give you the tools to provide superb service. We welcome candidates with a strong character who demonstrate the ability to work hard, think creatively, and most importantly, put our customers first. Being a Liberty Home Guard Customer Service Representative your day-to-day will look something like this:

  • Handling customer complaints and providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution via phone, email, and chat. 

  • De-escalate situations involving unsatisfied customers. 

  • Effectively manage large amounts of calls (on average 80-100 calls per day).

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support. 

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

  • Document and update customer records based on interactions.

  • Escalate inquiries and requests as necessary to the appropriate departments.

  • Maintain up to date knowledge on product specifications.

  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer comments as a basis to develop ideas for improved services, process, and procedures. 

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Courteous and empathetic attitude to all customers

  • Strong decision making and analytical skills.

  • Being flexible, proactive and self-motivated.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 

  • At least ONE year of call center customer service experience. 

Bonus Points but not required:

  • Experience at a high-growth organization. 

  • Experience in the home warranty or related industry.

  • Experience working as a live-chat agent. 

  • Weekend availability.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 

  • We have morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available: 9AM-5PM, 10AM-6PM, 11AM-7PM, 1PM-9PM.
  • This is an ON-SITE, call-center position. You will be required to work in the office. 
  • Location: Brooklyn, NY 11223.
