Today, the Analytics Department services our clients through the pillars of data collection, data management, insight & analysis, and data science solutions.  Permeating across all four pillars is our emphasis to translate an impactful and effective narrative through data storytelling.  This data narrative focus lends well to our team’s purpose statement “to hold data to its highest potential through activation.”


The Analytics Department has a persistent track record of breaking down cross-departmental siloes through strategic thought and team integration.  The deep level of commitment to growth and education within the team has consistently resulted in longer than average tenure with Levelwing. This role will help define and execute on Levelwing’s marketing intelligence and data visualization needs through the development of reports, visual analytics, and dashboards, focused primarily on digital marketing data.  This role will also help to support digital data collection strategies and identifying insightful online measurement opportunities. Successful candidates for this role must have a passion for data, critical thinking skills, problem-solving mentality, curious, resourceful, and enthusiasm in data aggregation and synthesis to power data visualization. 


The Business Analyst (Track: Data Management / Data Collection) will report to the Analytics Strategist and partner with team members across all departments within Levelwing – Analytics, Media, Accounts, and Creative.  



  • Consume and analyze data from numerous sources including but not limited to: digital marketing, traditional marketing, website analytics, point of sale, customer profile data
  • Construct client reporting requirements and data needs for weekly/monthly performance reports and ad-hoc deliverables
  • Identify data collection opportunities across websites that map to client business requirements
  • Create processes that streamline data management and reporting needs
  • Cross-departmental collaboration to guide the digital measurement strategy
  • Become skilled in web analytics tools, features and functionality – primarily Google Analytics
  • Become skilled in Marketing/Business Intelligence tools, features and functionality – primarily Datorama
  • Provide recommendations into business rules that aid in operational efficiency
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of reporting objectives and data requirements 
  • Think creatively to analyze data from a variety of perspectives to provide valuable insight tied with our client goals
  • Collaborate with teammates to present information in a consumable and impactful manner
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Strategist or Director
  • Keep well-informed of best practices for digital data collection, management, and visualization technologies and solutions.
  • Participate in the vetting of new solutions based on business/client needs and the ever-evolving digital landscape.


  • A bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, marketing, or a related field, preferred.
  • Professional experience in a data and analytics environment
  • High degree of passion and curiosity working with and understanding data to glean actionable insight 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and typical Marketing Analytics dimensions and metrics
  • Experience building engaging and effective dashboards and data visualizations with common tools such as Power BI, DOMO, Datorama, or Tableau.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with a careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and integrate multi-dimensional datasets
  • Eagerness to share new ideas, passion for learning, willingness to adopt new marketing technology solutions
  • Ability to work as a team and independently, and the ability to function effectively under uncertainty.
  • Google Analytics certification is preferred
