Job Description

As an Account Director, Media & Analytics, you are primarily responsible for leading strategy, growth, and service delivery for our clients. The Account Director must be able to understand numerous client business objectives and translate this information into strategies that drive meaningful results. You will partner with clients to grow their business, lead integrated digital media / analytics projects and be a strategic partner across internal teams to develop innovative digital solutions for your assigned client portfolio.

The Account Director, Media & Analytics, must be strategic, passionate, solutions-oriented, and have experience in working with complex client accounts and helping them run like well-oiled machines! The Account Director, Media & Analytics, must deal with a variety of internal and external personalities and a commitment to communicating well and building strong relationships is essential. There are numerous high-pressure situations that arise internally and externally due to client expectations and aggressive deadlines so the Account Director, Media & Analytics, should work well under pressure and know how to organize, prioritize, and motivate team members to rise to ever-changing challenges.

Having a solid understanding of the digital agency business and a strong working knowledge of the various digital media channels is critical, but we are truly looking for someone who can be a great leader and mentor for our team and for our clients - someone that always seeks to find opportunities to grow our clients’ business. 


Locations:

  • We have in-person hybrid roles based in Charleston, SC and Nashville, TN.
  • We also have full-time remote opportunities in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas. 


Skills an Account Director, Media & Analytics, Must Immediately Have:

  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to build and grow client relationships
  • A strong working knowledge of digital media channels, including Search (SEM/SEO), Social (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and LinkedIn) and Programmatic Display (i.e., GDN, The Trade Desk, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of cross-channel media and a passion for account management / client service
  • Ability to analyze data and information and translate into actionable strategies and presentations that tell a cohesive narrative
  • Demonstrative ability to grow a brand
  • eCommerce expertise
  • Flexible, self-starter with the ability to take ownership of numerous, fast-moving projects at once
  • The desire to pick up the phone and talk to clients versus solely relying on electronic messaging
  • Experienced leader 
  • Proven mentor to teams and clients
  • Deep project management experience
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C 
  • Business analytics experience – web analytics or otherwise
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication
  • Flexibility to travel (20%) {Note: This is subject to change based on behavioral changes stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic}

 

Summary of Core Responsibilities of an Account Director, Media & Analytics:

  • Work with Media Department to develop ongoing media plans and deliver new opportunities to clients
  • Have a full understanding of all primary and tertiary business goals for your clients, as well as short- and long-term opportunities that are important to each client stakeholder
  • Ensure quality and timely work that exceeds client expectations
  • Prepare ongoing Statements of Work for your clients and ensure efficient delivery against those scopes
  • Showcase your expertise in Levelwing’s digital solutions and how they can transform client’s business
  • Active role at all client meetings
  • Accountability for strategic documents delivered to clients (I.e., major strategy presentations, quarterly reports, etc.)
  • Support onboarding process for all new clients to your client portfolio
  • Offer counsel and recommendations to both clients and internal team members based on the clients’ needs and channel objectives
  • Forge a deep relationship with client contacts as well as the person(s) they report to
  • Thorough and ongoing research of client business and industry to ensure you understand not only media performance, as well as risks and opportunities for their business overall
  • Encompass a full understanding of company-wide capabilities at Levelwing to ensure all opportunities are understood as it relates to current accounts
  • Work with Department Directors to integrate non-media departments to ensure accounts are operating with the most effective team members and are being tracked properly, both financially through internal tracking systems
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews both internally and externally
  • Responsible for the oversight and assistance, when needed, of end-to-end transition timelines and progress when team members are rolling onto and off your accounts
