Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: $15-$17/hour (DOE)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Start: End of March

Job Description:

A Baltimore company is looking for a Rebate Pharmacy Technician to:

• Research and resolve discrepancies with drug manufacturers
• Contact providers and manufacturers daily
• Provide claim level detail to drug manufacturers
• Understand and be able to calculate reimbursement amounts
• Determine prescriptions eligible for rebate
• Create dispute reports
• A background in research and problem resolution is preferred along with a MD Pharmacy technician certification.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience (MD Certification REQUIRED)
• Prior Authorization experience REQUIRED
• Working knowledge of prescription drug card system
• Experience with word processing and spreadsheet application
  • STRONG EXCEL SKILLS REQUIRED
• Experience with multiple computer applications
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems with minimal direction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated multi-tasking skills
• Ability to train and guide future employees

Preferred Experience:

• Hospital Pharmacy
• Drug Rebate Experience
