The Leukemia & Lymphoma Societys National Capital Area Chapter is seeking an intern to assist with marketing for various campaigns.This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate interested in pursuing a career in non-profit, fundraising/development, and/or public relations while making a difference in the lives of people living with and affected by blood cancers. We are looking for an organized and creative self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with a diverse audience. Intern should have a strong work ethic, maintain attention to detail, and be able to work independently as well as a part of a team. Applicants with experience in social media, event planning, database management, customer service and/or graphic design are encouraged to apply.Internships will start as early as late August 2019 and continue through the Fall Semester. Opportunity may be extended.Internship is unpaid, but may be eligible for college/class credit. To receive credit, intern must provide letter from school showing that credit will be given.
