Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, we are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our small but mighty team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accurate sales order management while surrounded by genuine people and great Italian products.
- Prepare food samples for Sales Representatives.
- Respond to incoming calls, emails and other messages from customers by providing timely and accurate verbal and written information.
- Process orders for National Accounts.
- Audit sales order entries in CRM system.
- Schedule delivery appointments for National and Distributor Accounts.
- Prepare paperwork for all outbound shipments of National and Distributor Accounts.
- Adjust quantities from returned order tickets ensuring that orders are verified and approved.
- Handle discrepancies between Sales and customers arising from order transactions.
- Provide accurate direction and support to the Sales Team and Warehouse Team to facilitate successful completion of company targets and performance goals.
- Special projects or other duties as required.
- Post-Secondary Education
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with customers, both internal and external
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, frequent deadline environment
- Proficient in MSOffice
- Experience in the Specialty Food Distribution or a related industry is a plus
