Scan documents and verify that the scan is complete and legible.
Download files from the secure client portal
Follow paperless office procedures
Print tax returns and assemble client copies.
Respond to emails and phone messages.
Write desk procedures and other documents
Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours & Physical Requirements:
This is a desk‐job in an office environment. Work hours are Monday ‐ Friday during the day. May occasionally require overtime or weekend work. Overall the hours are flexible and we are open to working with you if you have child care needs or a long morning commute.The employee must have the ability to sit and concentrate for long stretches; type and input data at a computer; and answer the phones. May occasionally move office supply boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Must have a positive, can‐do attitude, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Prefer someone with office and customer service experience.
Requires attention to details, combined with a friendly personality and good time‐management & organizational skills.
Must have a basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Adobe Acrobat skills are a plus.
Must have adequate skills in typing (35 wpm or above), and familiarity with 10‐key.
Must have good writing and oral communication skills.
Basic accounting or tax knowledge is a plus.
