Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

We are a small CPA office located in Westlake Village looking to hire a part-time or full-time employee. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working as a receptionist/administrative assistant. This is a position that supports the firm’s professional accounting staff with opportunity to grow within our company.

General office duties include:

  • Answering telephones, take detailed messages as required, and transfer calls to the appropriate employee

  • Prepare and process incoming/outgoing mail

  • Package tax returns and send to clients

  • Maintain records, organize and create new client tax files

  • Scanning client documents into a software organizer, Engagement, and place it in the correct workpaper index

  • Maintain kitchen, supply/printer room, and administrative/lobby area

  • Other miscellaneous projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Great customer service skills, delegated front desk greeter

  • Organizational skills

  • Works well under pressure

  • Eager to learn

  • Capable of meeting deadlines

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks would be advantageous

Hours

Part-time/Full-time

Flexible with shift times within Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:30 time frames

Must be able to work more hours during busy season (February – April)
