Job Description / Job Summary

Seeking an experienced dental assistant for a  well established totally fee-for-service, comprehensive care, general/prosthodontic dental practice in NW Washington, D.C. We are a modern, fully digital, paperless practice that focuses on providing excellence in care and service to our patients. We have a general dentist and a prosthodontist working in our practice and you would work with both of them. Our current office hours are from 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties

Our dental assistants assist the doctors with all aspects of patient care and lab work. Besides routine dental assisting, you will be asked to assist in patient management and lab communication. Our practice provides a wide array of services and we expect our dental assistants to be able to utilize all their current skills while showing an interest in expanding their skill base both at the chair-side and in the lab.

Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a chair-side dental assistant with at least 1 year of experience who has a current DC Dental Board assisting registration, is x-ray certified, dependable, outgoing, energetic, inquisitive, and who wants to fully participate in patient care. Any administrative or front desk experience is a plus.
