Oracle Database Developer

Lentech Inc. is currently seeking a Oracle Database Developer to support the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) operations at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt Maryland.

Security Clearance:
This position requires the candidate to pass a US Government background investigation.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Applies extensive technical experience to design, develop, test, and deliver HST operations control center ground system command and control software.
• Analyze operational anomalies and provide on-call support on a rotating schedule.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in all aspects of Oracle database (DBA) implementation
• Experience in applying and demonstrating security and configuration baselines to Oracle databases.
• Unix scripting

• Experience with: Windows 10
• Oracle Solaris 10, 11 or 12;
• Java Standard Edition; C/C++
• TCL
• Satellite ground systems
• Real-time systems
• Systems Test
• HTML
• Web design
• Windows mobile application development
• On call support.
