The Leggett & Platt Flooring division, located in Statesville, NC is searching for an Over the Road (OTR) Regional Truck Driver to be a part of our fleet to help support our Carpet Underlay business unit. Learn more about the history of Leggett: https://leggett.com/history

As The Components People, we are the leading supplier of a wide range of products and components for all areas of life, including mattress springs, carpet cushion, automotive components as well as bedding machinery and erosion-control products.
As an Over the Road Regional Truck Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting, delivering, and tailgating rolls of carpet padding to our customers throughout the East Coast as well as some areas of Ohio, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Missouri. You will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring that our customers’ orders are delivered in a timely manner.
So, what will you be doing as an OTR Truck Driver?
- Driving long hours while adhering to Federal DOT guidelines
- Backing trailers into tight spaces
- Tailgating material at multi-stop unloads
- Drop & Hooks
- Backhauling scrap
- Working a Sunday through Friday work week
- Earn $80,000 - $100,000 annually
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have the following:
- A valid CDL Driver’s License
- Doubles’ Endorsement a plus
- A valid Medical Certification Card
- A good driving history
- A stable work history
