Dear Technology Lover!
(NOTE- MSP WORK EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)

We're a 16 year-old MSP helping SMB's (mostly law firms) with their technology needs.
We're looking for a help-desk support specialist to:

  • Assist customers by phone, chat, Email and on-site with technology questions, setup and troubleshooting
  • Diagnose, fix and document computer/ network related problem and projects
  • Manage and follow daily schedule of tickets and projects

Applicants will be tested on, and must pass the following areas :
(if you can answer these questions, you are most likely a good fit on the technical level)

  • Explain a non-technical person what is Hosted Exchange and how it might help their business
  • Create a user in Active Directory, with restricted logon hours
  • Explain a non-technical person what the "cloud" is
  • Remove a virus infection from a PC
  • Create a new Virtual Machine on a Hyper-V host, from an ISO file located on a different computer on the network
  • Basic network troubleshooting, basic AD management, Advanced knowledge with MS office programs, Virus removal, Drive cloning, Hardware troubleshooting, and windows errors troubleshooting.

Additional information:

  • Due to Covid, our employees all work from home. You must have quite work environment, reliable fast internet connection, and no excessive background noise.
  • We evaluate/ review employees monthly and provide consistent feedback, then offer raises according to performance, certifications, attitude and customers reviews twice/ year.
  • When clients offices, we require business-casual attire.
  • Personality is KEY for us. We are looking for an easy-going, yet professional, friendly and honest person.
  • You are expected to be available on-call 24/7 on a rotation basis. It's VERY rare for us to contact employees after-hours (average is twice/ year).
  • We're closed on major holidays
  • We offer paid holidays and PTO starting on the first day of employment.
  • You must have a reliable car (no motorcycle).
  • Work hours are M-F 8:15am till 5:45 pm and half-day every third Saturday. Mandatory 1 hour lunch and additional breaks throughout the day as needed.

Experience:

  • REQUIRED: Relevant 2 years experience as an IT professional
  • REQUIRED: Previous position working for an MSP
  • Preferred: DATTO PSA/ RMM (formerly Autotask / AEM)
  • Preferred: Hyper-V
  • Preferred: Veeam
