Our client, a highly regarded global law firm, is currently seeking an International Trade Paralegal to join the team in their DC office. The paralegal will provide specialized paraprofessional support in the International Trade Regulation and Litigation practices at the Firm. Some responsibilities include: finalizing and submitting case filings before the Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission in antidumping and countervailing duty; finalize and submit court filings before the US Court of International Trade and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in the trade remedy litigation; legal research and writing in support of trade remedies, trade policy, litigation matters, and documents as requested in support of international trade filings; and more!
Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, related work experience in international trade and/or federal agency filings, and at least two years of work experience as a paralegal in an AmLaw 100 firm or consulting firm specializing in international trade. Candidates must also be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and be familiar with the Department of Commerce’s ACCESS system and the International Trade Commission’s EDIS system.
