The Washington, D.C. office of a global Immigration law firm is seeking a contract to hire Business Immigration Coordinator to join their team! The Coordinator will be responsible for supporting paralegals and attorneys with various clerical tasks, including but not limited to creating, copying, scanning, and uploading necessary documents and case materials, performing data entry and maintaining case management system, filing, updating case status reports, and more! This position will allow the Coordinator to learn business immigration procedural and processing requirements, build a working knowledge of non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications, and be an integral member of a very collegial group.
This role will require extensive time management skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and administrative experience, preferably in a law firm environment. Candidates with strong administrative experience, and some college level coursework will also be considered. Additional requirements include strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a high level of initiative. Candidates will be required to come into the office on a rotational basis, one week remote, and one week in the office every day.
