Job Description

The VP of Technology leads the strategy, development, implementation and oversight of Technology Infrastructure. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, scalability, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure. Modernizing IT infrastructure is a critical piece of the strategic plan for Information Technology. This role works closely with the CIO and business leaders to design and execute the organization's technology roadmap. The VP drives innovation and delivers cost-effective solutions through execution and support.

Responsibilities:

- Hands-on Leader, responsible for managing the Technology Infrastructure, Security, and Operations.

- Work with CIO to develop and implement a Technology Infrastructure strategy and implementation roadmap.

- Participates as a member of the Senior Team in strategic/tactical planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

- Ensures that technology is being used effectively and securely; monitors systems performance and recommends system upgrades and enhancements.

- Complies with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies.

- Participates in planning for the department to select and implement the appropriate hardware, vendors, and operational software, etc. to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

- Responsible for partnering with key internal stakeholders to improve and evolve the organizations digital transformation.

- Understanding of IT trends and opportunities that can create business value

- Balance tactical and strategic demands.

- Actively monitor software vulnerabilities and oversee Patching program.

- Develop best practices and operating procedures to support sustained operational efficiency.

- Lead the implementation and operation of cybersecurity and compliance throughout IT infrastructure.

- Lead the Disaster Recovery Plan and testing activities.

- Actively monitor software vulnerabilities and oversee Patching program.

- Directs significant special projects as required.

Requirements:

- Experience with Microsoft platform including Office365, Windows Server, and Domain Controllers.

- Experience working with Cisco Phone Systems and VOIP.

- Experience with Project Management and technology deployment.

- Experience with Administration of cloud-based solutions.

- Experience with SQL and SQL database administration.

- Well-versed within Information Security.

- Knowledgeable within VMWare management.

- Experience successfully managing technology and leading IT infrastructure teams.

- Hands-on experience implementing technology improvements and running project implementation leveraging outsourcing models.

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent.
