Full Time Bookkeeper

Legacy Luxury Transportation is looking for a knowledgeable and professional Bookkeeper in Longview, TX. The perfect candidate would be able to independently conduct accounts receivable and payable functions, including but not limited to; invoicing, processing deposits and receipts, and revenue recognition. 

This would be a full-time position with potential to grow and expand your skills.

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
 

Responsibilities: 
- Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying 

- Support month-end and year-end close outs 

- Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts 

- Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts - remote and inhouse transactions 

- Reconciling bank statements 

- Maintaining a balanced ledger 

- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements 

- Assisting in financial activities such as processing payroll (W2 and 1099 employees) and generating invoices 

- Maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance 

- Monitoring cashflow and produce financial reports to assist in strategic decisions and creating budgets 

Qualifications: 

- At least 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting or bookkeeping position 

- Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP 

- Strong verbal and written communication 

- Proficient skills in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office 

- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
