Job Description
The Real Estate Associate assists the LWG real estate team in the management of 120+ automotive retail locations and its real estate fund from a facility maintenance perspective as well as back-office operations. LWG is seeking a highly driven individual interested in an entry-level position with high levels of upward mobility and exposure to the executive management team. This position reports directly to the Head of Real Estate.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Supports all facilities maintenance needs and requests
  • Provides administrative support to the LWG real estate team.
  • Aids in project management and maintenance needs, capital improvement, store renovations, and project planning, of LWG national portfolio.
  • Aids in management and maintenance of facility safety and inspection requirements and best practices (backflow testing, fire safety, sprinkler systems, etc.).
  • Manages the LWG company vehicle fleet.
  • Provides periodic project status reporting for Real Estate Department.
  • Effectively and efficiently manages special projects and various duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This job operates in an office environment and in automotive repair facilities throughout all LWG portfolio markets.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or driving short and long distances.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform various basic manual labor tasks as needed such as squatting, bending, kneeling, and more.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours or more per week. Hours of business operations are Monday thru Friday with some weekend, evening, and on-call expectations.

Travel Expectations

This position requires <30% travel.

Required Education, Credentials, and Experience

  • High school diploma required
  • College degree preferred
  • Active and unrestricted driver’s license
  • Internship or professional work experience in business, retail, automotive retail, real estate, or office administration preferred
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
