Job DescriptionLee & Cates Glass Customer Service and Sales Associate Job Description We are building a team of Customer Service and Sales Associates who will interact with our customers at fixed locations. They greet customers in a cheerful and professional manner and conduct a walk-around inspection of the vehicle with the customer. During this walk around is an ideal time to educate the customer on our products and services that may be applicable.
We are looking for professional and courteous individuals that want to be part of our team which is facilitating services to our automotive customers. The Lee & Cates Glass Customer Service and Sales Associates represents Lee & Cates Glass to targeted customers in order to build awareness, create a consistent image, generate sales opportunities, and build customer preference. This is an entry level sales position with a minimum of $14.00 p/h with base pay and incentive. Job Tasks • Network and build trusting relationships with potential customers and partner companies • Thoroughly understand our products and services to inform potential customers • Use word of mouth marketing techniques • Assist in organizing marketing events • Track customer preferences and suggest advertising and positioning ideas • Plan and implement awareness creating programs to reach out to potential customers • Engage in outreach programs to involve existing customers into the company’s offerings • Understand the company’s goals and missions, and apply them within a sales and marketing platform • Relay customer feedback to the company in anticipation of improving products and services • Generate ideas to maximize sales to achieve or exceed sales goals • Develop and maintain strong and clear communication with existing and future customers • Assist in creating and installing marketing displays and insuring brand advertising material is placed strategically • Build and sustain business relationships with key customers and accounts in an operating area. • Leave any literature, if any, regarding our products and services Accountability Functions Include • Maintain a “can do” and positive attitude while making decisions and facilitating services in a way consistent with company values • Maintain a professional image • Strive for excellent customer satisfaction and experience • Maintain quality workmanship as a friendly competitive team player • Maintain reliable, punctual attendance • Maintain a strong work ethic, initiative, and maintain sound decision making in a fast paced work environment Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To • Work well with others • Communicate to management • Communicate task completion to management on a timely basis • Possess skills to think through complex challenges • Determination and willingness to see jobs to completion • Scheduling jobs • Insurance network procedures • Take initiative to make decisions • Computer literate • Ability to follow instructions • Possess effective verbal and written communication and sound organizational skills Essential Functions, But Are Not Limited to: • Reach overhead Reach Forward Lifting & carrying 50 lbs.+ • Push/Pull Handling/Lifting • Kneeling Crawling • Stooping Twisting • Squatting Standing • Sitting Balancing • Climb Stairs Climb Ladders Product Knowledge to be introduced in training Basic knowledge of products and services in the glass industry relating to auto, home, and business Understand insurance regulations relating to windshield repair and replacement consistent with Florida Comprehensive Insurance benefits. Understand industry standards and technician certifications relating to safety for the auto glass industry. Time/Experience Entry level up to 5 years Sales Proficiency Willingness to cross-sell when necessaryGood customer skills
