Job Description

With companies in 15 countries we are a world leader in the development and commercialization of automotive electronics, including Multiplexing Systems / Power Management Units, Electronic Control Modules, HMI (Displays, Clusters, Gauges) EV powertrains, Li-ion battery packs, and Battery Management Systems.

Use Manufacturing Engineering principles, tools and techniques to increase quality and process reliability throughout the company product line, organization and suppliers.

Job Specific Competencies:

  1. Process Management
    1. Organizes, implements and maintains production process flow
    2. Develops, manages and ensures adherence to working instructions, workmanship standards and process documents
    3. Continuous improvement of existing operations
    4. Investigates, reports and recommends solutions for operational problems
    5. Provides manufacturing data improving processes and measurements of progress to targets
    6. Identifies ways to reduce production costs via recommendations (i.e. new process equipment)
    7. Trains and supervises staff on new development processes and technologies
    8. Establishes a training and quality culture
    9. Oversees setup of production process for new production launches per APQP standard
  2. Collaboration
    1. Organizes meetings with team members to facilitate growth
    2. Collaborates with design engineering on Design for Excellence DFX for cost, testing and manufacturability
    3. Collaborates with relevant departments to determine estimated costs, run time, cost reduction and closing feedback loop
    4. Collaborates with supplies on manufacturing processes
  3. Legal Compliance
    1. Ensure legal compliance with state, federal and OSHA requirements
    2. Ensure ISO procedures are followed
    3. Ensure adherence to company Quality Manual
    4. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, preferred
  • 5 years’ experience as a Process Engineer, preferred
  • Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), certification preferred, Keyence experience preferred
  • Experience with electronics device design, manufacturing field and programming Robotic systems
  • Ability to work as a team member to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Proven track record in using Engineering tools effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working within a design and manufacturing environment

  • Process capability and Control
