Law Offices of Mark Weinstein, P.C. was established in 2001 and specializes in eminent domain law and real estate litigation. The firm has experienced rapid growth, is currently building a new 5,000 square foot office in the Cumming area and is seeking to hire one or more new associate attorneys.

The owner and founder Mark Weinstein, Esq. (AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell) is a Special Assistant Attorney General (SAAG) for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and has handled scores of road projects for GDOT involving thousands of closings and hundreds of condemnation actions. Mr. Weinstein and the firm also handle all types of real estate litigation, including quiet title actions, partition actions, boundary line disputes, disputes over easement rights, malpractice actions involving real estate transactions, eminent domain matters against condemning authorities other than GDOT, and various other real estate related matters.

The firm currently employs four associate attorneys: Matthew Chamberlain, Esq., a 2015 Emory Fellow who joined the firm in 2015, Christina A. Scott, Esq., Daniel E. Oliva, Esq. and Jason Mirabella, Esq. who each joined the firm in 2018. The firm also employs Marketing Director Jessica Pavley, Office Manager Paula Jenkins, Legal Assistant Sally Warrener and Finance Assistant Jackie Bowman.

New associate attorneys must demonstrate a dedication to excellence, flexibility, a willingness to grow and a positive, unpretentious attitude. Excellent writing, research, computer and organizational skills are also required. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in real estate law and litigation, but candidates with a strong desire to join the field are encouraged to apply. Compensation is between $60,000 and $100,000 per year depending upon experience.

Approximately 85% of the firm's work is eminent domain or condemnation law work for GDOT including title work, closings and litigation. Other work includes eminent domain or condemnation law work for private property owners against condemning authorities other than GDOT, and closings and real estate litigation for individuals and institutions involving land disputes, broker commission law, landlord/tenant matters, foreclosure avoidance and short sales and other real estate law matters. The Law Offices of Mark Weinstein, P.C. is a small firm consisting of five full-time Attorneys, one full-time Legal Assistant, one full-time Office Manager, a part-time Finance Assistant and one part-time Marketing Director. All work is currently done in a home-based office. The firm has experienced rapid growth and will be relocating to a new office space in Cumming, GA. The Law Offices of Mark Weinstein, P.C. is a smoke-free workplace. While located inside the home office we do occasionally have visits from the family cat and dog. Both are friendly, but should be considered if you have allergies or discomfort around animals. Our office fish Ollie is quite harmless.
