Job Description


  • Create production plans meet on time delivery goals
  • Control EPEI/Kanban system for 25+ injection molding machines
  • Set and communicate daily execution plan for assembly operations utilizing Heijunka board
  • Maintenance of a Kanban system for fabricated components
  • Control planned downtime and coordinate with maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance takes place timely
  • Assist in the administration of the preventative maintenance program – Express Maintenance
  • Collaborate with the entire team to understand/communicate status of all necessary materials to ensure good parts ship on time
  • Ensure quality, timing, and the lowest possible inventory levels necessary to support the established system
  • Communicate scheduling gaps with team members
  • Formulate and communicate recovery plans
  • Modify schedule if issues arise and determine plan to satisfy or notify customer of changes
  • Own PFEP activities for all manufactured parts
  • Maintain acute awareness of late orders
  • Participate in or directly develop strategies and processes that improve current operations
  • Continually demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and direct follow up vs. waiting
  • Support the Operation team’s goal to safely ship good parts on time in any reasonable capacity as assigned
  • Aggressively pursue continuous improvement
  • Support material flows to our other facilities
  • Point person for year end inventory of WIP and finished goods
  • Direct support of scheduling new project launches


  • 2 years experience in scheduling operations or equivalent experience desired
  • New graduates that can demonstrate an exceptional knowledge of foundational supply chain principals and a track record of success will be considered
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and other Web-based Applications
  • Above average Excel skills required – pivot table / V lookup at minimum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills
  • Demonstration of commitment to customer and user satisfaction
  • Confident, autonomous self-starter able to work with minimal supervision with solid decision making skills
  • Time is of the essence mentality, consistent follow up vs. waiting
  • Willing and able to cover direct supervisory positions , temporarily, as needed
