General Summary:

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for managing Supply Chain and Operations data; reporting tools; and systems designed to eliminate excess inventory, reduce costs, improve efficiencies, and maintain system data integrity. Position requires supervising and supporting the staff of Analysts which assist in the execution and maintenance required by the Supply Chain Department and gathering cost data to support customer quote activity.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Represent the supply chain group in the weekly ECO meetings; manage print revision data and JDE manufacturing system data for routings, product structures, bill of materials, work standards, planning parameters, cost data, etc.


Analyze cost change criteria and manage manufacturing setup strategies of existing parts through the internal Quoting Process.


Manage and develop systems/reports to assist in analyzing ABC codes, stock levels, run quantities, raw material and component inventory levels, and capacity. Coordinate other reports to assist in analyzing sales and inventory as required.


Assist in the coordination of data, with regards to part introductions and obsolescence.


Organize and lead projects/systems to assist in the analysis and disposition of excess inventory:  obsolete, scrap, or find alternate uses to minimize the negative effect to the company.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of years and experience.
  • Database management skills, programming skills, and PC skills essential. Advanced JDE Enterprise One skills required.
  • APICS certification merits special consideration for the position. Work closely with technical management, technology resources and other individuals throughout the requirements, design, and implementation phases of projects
  • Ideally, 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in materials management or industrial engineering, although we will consider less experience
