Sr. .NET Developer (Must be a US Citizen)

Responsibilities and Duties:  

Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.  

Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Evaluates effectiveness. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acts as team leader on projects. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of others on the development team. Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.  

Required Skillsets:  

• Experience with the Agile methodology and leading the implementation of Agile best practices.  
• Demonstrated implementation of Agile principles within an Agile SW Development environment.  
• Microsoft C#  
• Microsoft .NET CORE 3.1 or greater  

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or greater  
• MVC Design Patterns  
• Entity Framework (EF) 4 or greater  
• MVVM Design Patterns  
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server  

• Experience creating microservices.  
• Experience creating APIs using Entity Framework.  
• Experience with AJAX, RESTful web services, and Windows Services.  
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 or above, and Linux.  
• Experience working directly with customers to understand requirements.  

Desired Skillsets:  

• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS  
• Cognos, Oracle, Informatica, SharePoint, TAK, Java, Postgress, Powershell, PowerBI, O365, ServiceNow, Data Lake Micro Services,  
• Experience with containerization of Micro Services  

• Experience with systems using Extract Transform Load (ETL) to create an operational data store, data warehouse, or data lake.  
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or Microsoft Team Foundation Server.  
• Experience with PowerBI, ServiceNow, Tableau, Informatica, and Cognos  
• Experience in sustaining and maintaining mobile applications which depend on web service integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).   

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited university.  

Location:

Currently remote could require on-site work upon customer request. 

Washington D.C.
