Job Description
This position allows for 2-3 days remote / work from home.
Salary: $75,000 - 85,000/year
Provides key contributions to develop social media plans to inform the public and key stakeholders about the our culture, brand, and resources. Activities include developing content plans across all social media channels; translating objectives to marketing strategies to build and convert target audiences; and managing multiple projects from launching publications to event support. Interacts and consults regularly with leadership of departments on business-line communication plans to ascertain program goals and key performance indicators of social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plans and deploys social media communication projects to reach and engage national and regional audiences, choosing the best channels and tactics. Manages projects to meet deadlines and support business communication and marketing objectives. Ensures brand consistency when creating written or graphic content for social media channels, and leverages the digital tools for creating and sending social media campaigns.
  • Collaborates with writers, editors, graphic designers, photographers, videographers and other Public Affairs colleagues, along with other Atlanta Fed business line partners, to create content for social media campaigns that promotes the programs, research and mission of the Atlanta Fed and the Federal Reserve System. Schedules and publishes social media posts through customer experience management platform with awareness of how they fit into the broader messaging plans of the Atlanta Fed and to optimize engagement and interactions.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting of social media campaigns, including ROI, interpretation and commentary. Analyzes social media channels to identify key themes, audience sentiment, share of voice, audience interactions, trend opportunities and content creation ideas. Recommends measurement strategies and presents reports to internal partner teams and senior management. Sets cadence for regular analysis of overall Bank social media results, including creating custom reports.
  • Contributes to multi-channel marketing plans by translating business objectives that leverage the unique strengths of social media channels. Applies insights from social channels to identify key themes, audience sentiment, share of voice, trend opportunities, and content creation ideas. Conducts audience research, analyzes data, and collaborates with web developers, content team, and media production to drive innovative and creative approaches to grow and engage target audiences.
  • Maintains effective relationships with internal team members and stakeholders. Facilitates social media marketing discussions with business-line leaders and staff by providing counsel on best practices, social platform innovations, marketing principles, industry trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Handles special projects for Public Affairs leadership on an as-needed basis.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience: 2 + years preferred.
