Job Description

Are you a proven performer, with 3+ years of experience of MSP sales, looking to join a team that is growing? Our Technical Sales Specialist position is a sales role focused on generating new business for our IT Security and Managed Services company. As a Technical Sales Specialist you will work for our Business Development team, Marketing, and Engineering staff to develop a pipeline, attend sales calls, complete and deliver proposals, and ultimately close the business.

Job Description:

  • Identify and close opportunities for Business Technology Services – security and networking projects, IT support, VOIP, and Custom Application Development services. Focus on Security opportunities, to include compliance for DoD subcontractors, Security assessments, and policy writing.
  • Partner with Senior Sales Engineers on IT Technical B2B Solution & IT Technical B2B Services Opportunities
  • Complete company and partner sales training and certifications, where applicable
  • REQUIRED: 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience as an MSP (Managed Services Provider) sales rep. Please do not apply unless you have B2B MSP Sales Experience
  • Self-Motivated with an aptitude to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create and deliver executive level presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent grasp of competitive landscape, solution services and offerings and market place demands for ITS Services
  • Use of Connectwise Manage to keep track of pipeline activities and expenses.
