Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on, laser-focused Quality Engineer with excellent attention to detail, that will be able to inspect our custom lithium ion batteries for quality and reliabilty. Salary: $90,000 - 110,000/year

Responsibilities:

Provide QA support on manufacturing floor for production and development programs
Establish, document and implement quality control procedures to ensure quality of manufactured products
Generate materials dispositions for nonconformance process, and recommend corrective and preventative actions
Develop inspection criteria, review drawings, procedures, test data and inspection records to specifications
Manages equipment calibration compliance for the facility
Perform metallographic lab sample preparation, inspection, and sample approval process
Apply statistical methods and controls to enhance quality control of products and processes
Prepare, communicate, and present technical program information to team members and management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university in Engineering, Quality, Math or Science related field
2-5 years of relevant Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with measuring equipment including hand tools,gauges, CMM or other automated measurement systems
Proficiency in statistical methods, analytical and problem solving skills
Basic knowledge of & experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Strong mechanical background desirable, with experience working within a manufacturing and assembly environment
