Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares formulation samples for customers.
- Completes sample requests in a timely manner.
- Maintains stock of current materials in the laboratory.
- Maintains Research & Developments completed formula batch tickets. Files them on a monthly basis.
- Assists Flavorists as needed.
- Obtains all samples and ensures quality control approval prior to shipping to customers.
- Keeps laboratory in order and ensures glassware is cleaned, dried, and put away.
- Ensures all expired samples and raw materials are discarded properly.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or an equivalent area.
- 2 – 4 years experience working in a lab setting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills required.
- This position requires regular presence in the office.
- Some travel may be required.
