Primary Responsibilities and Duties
  • Research and analyze new ways to better utilize current and future technologies, within the firm, to make productivity of users and IT staff more efficient and effective within the desktop and server environments.
  • Assist in maintaining Hybrid SCCM/Intune environment


    • Configuration / Maintenance/ Upgrades / Software Packaging and Deployment
    • Advanced Threat Protection - (EDR & ASR)
    • Anti-Virus, MDM, MAM & Device Encryption


  • Assist in maintaining the security, reliability, and resiliency of current Hybrid on premise AD/Azure cloud environment


  • Assist in maintaining virtual server environment, SAN storage, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure, e-mail, phone and communication services.


  • Assist in maintaining backup and replication systems to ensure integrity of the disaster recovery site.
  • Assist in Analyzing and remediating security audit logs and Vulnerability scans.


  • Set up new employees on appropriate systems, prior to their arrival and implement all necessary phone changes associated with employees. Process employee separations in the same areas.


  • Performs daily IT tasks and procedures, including troubleshooting and problem solving of calls escalated by Help Desk Staff, installing and maintaining desktop hardware, software and maintaining end-user files.


  • Works with team members with rollout of new technologies.


  • Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.


  • Participates in 24 X 7 X 365 coverage to monitor daily operations and infrastructure to ensure high availability.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required
  • Requires an associate's degree in a related area and/or 3-5 years of experience in the information technology field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the information technology field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Introductory knowledge of network architecture.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Endpoint Configuration Manager/Intune and MS Exchange
  • Proficiency in the development of scripts to automate and improve software processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication; organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize competing tasks.
  • Ability to successfully manage difficult users in a professional environment, with strong commitment to customer service and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, research, and correct the majority of system malfunctions, and do so remotely.
  • Proficient with the installation, repair, configuration and use of computer hardware/software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 core applications and Microsoft Operating Systems - latest version is preferred
  • Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with fellow employees in a team oriented environment.
  • Demonstrates a consistent, dependable work effort and a positive work attitude.
  • Adjusts work schedule as necessary to meet department demands or to ensure maximum system up time, to include working extra hours when necessary.
