Job Description

 

Walnut Park Apartments, an upscale apartment community located in North Austin, is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager. The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented individual with great communication, marketing, and financial skills.

Position Responsibilities

·       Support the manager in all aspects of operation including administrative and financial duties.

·       Maintain a professional, friendly atmosphere.

·       Demonstrate a caring attitude without accepting liability.

·       Collect and posting rent payments.

·       Assist in the monthly close-out process.

·       Prepare and update all necessary reports, leases and paperwork.

·       Inspect move-outs and vacant units.

·       Train and coach leasing staff.

·       Handle emergency situations in a calm, professional manner.

Regular schedule is business hours Monday through Friday in addition to one weekend per month. As a result of staffing limitations, it is critical that the candidate be able to work their scheduled hours on a consistent basis and, if necessary, overtime hours when requested. Position requires the ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary. Our office adheres to City Orders and CDC guidelines and allows ample space for social distancing.

Full-time position with a competitive benefits package that includes PTO, full medical, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) option with employer match program.  Employee rental discount available. Candidate must be able to furnish a valid drivers’ license and pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Salary is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE
