Job Details:

Performs prescribed procedures of respiratory care under the direction of a physician in accordance with established policies, practices and standards.

Directory of Respiratory Care


SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):


Education

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? 1 - 3 years experience

? BLS certification required.


Experience

? Three months of previous clinical experience preferred



Knowledge, Skill and Ability

? Must possess good interpersonal skills.


WORKING CONDITIONS:


Environment

Exposed to infectious diseases and blood borne pathogens. Works with a variety of medical gases. The position may require lifting and positioning of patients and moving equipment to various locations throughout the facility. The periods of standing and walking are common throughout the shift. Responsible for carrying a pager.
