POSITION SUMMARY: (Overall purpose and scope of position)

This key position is responsible for managing the project activities within traditional and agile development teams in a greenfield, fast-paced, and growing environment. Working directly with development teams, business project managers and leadership, this position leverages project management development methodologies and tools to maintain detailed technical requirements, assist with sprint planning and schedule resources. As an integral member of the development team, this position interfaces with all Information Technology (IT) domains.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Essential duties and responsibilities)

-Escalates impediments, issues, and changes associated with development initiatives.

-Manages development projects to ensure of scope, budget, and timeline adherence.

-Develops comprehensive project plans that merge requirements with technical solutions.

-Coordinates schedules and resources with stakeholders and technical personnel

-Interfaces between external customer technical staff and internal technical personnel

-Participants in sprint planning and actively promotes agile scrum methodologies

-Creates detailed reports and communications on milestones and deliverables

-Oversees compliance of thorough documentation and record keeping within Azure DevOps

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: (Travel, hours, physical demands, risks or hazards)

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: (MINIMUM requirements to perform the job)

-4 Year College Degree; Project Management, or related discipline or equivalent experience

-4+ years of recent experience working directly with technical teams

-2+ years of experience leading others

-2+ years of experience working in an Agile Scrum environment

-2+ years utilizing software project planning software e.g. Azure DevOps

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to interact professionally with developers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts

-Must be adaptable and comfortable with changing business requirements

-Strong communication skills, both verbally and written

-Expert in using the Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint 

-Strong work ethic
