The Warehouse Associate contributes to meeting Langham goals of exceptional customer service, quality, process improvement, and profitability by ensuring that the designated items and number of items are correctly picked, packed, and shipped according to client specifications to eliminate errors and claims. The Warehouse Associate may also perform such duties as receiving, driving, quality control, shipping, housekeeping, etc.
Warehouse Associates work a variety of shifts and may be asked to work overtime as customer needs fluctuate.
All Warehouse Associates are expected to operate according to all safety and security guidelines. Any Warehouse Associate who operates any of our forklift equipment must be certified by Langham.
Evaluation of performance
Performance will be evaluated based on meeting the requirements of the job description; meeting performance metrics and other quality indicators established for this position; working according to specifications, policies, and standards established by Langham; working effectively in a team environment; and providing a high level of internal and external customer service.Performance metrics

Quality (error rates), productivity, absenteeism.
Key outcomes expected
All Warehouse Associates, regardless of assigned area or duties, are expected to:
- Operate all equipment, machinery, forklifts, etc., in an efficient, safe, and productive manner;
- Work according to customer orders and specifications;
- Meet established quality and productivity metrics;
- Provide daily checks on machines as assigned;
- Keep work areas neat and clean.
Ensure customer orders are correctly picked and packed and staged for shipping:
Using the order sheets (pick tickets), locate correct bin and part numbers and pack as required. Work may require use of forklift equipment.
Quality check all parts against part numbers and printed order to ensure accuracy.
Sign off as required on order sheet with correct quantity.
Deliver product to staging areas for quality control.
After quality control inspection, attach correct shipping labels.
Load, unload, and receive materials off of trucks and deliver to assigned location in a manner to reduce damage.
Work as part of a team, assist others when needed.
Represent Langham Logistics:

High school diploma or GED required.
Forklift drivers must be able to pass forklift certification training.
Physical demands
Must be able to operate a variety of equipment: stand up forklift, sit down forklift, order picker.
Physical movements including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily work routine. Will be working on concrete in a warehouse environment (subject to heat and cold).
Receivers must be able to operate computer equipment.
Work environment
Work is performed in a warehouse environment subject to temperature variances.
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
