About the Position
The purpose of this posting is to create a pool of eligible Physician Assistant candidates.
The Physician Assistant position will provide comprehensive medical care under the supervision of a licensed physician.
About the Division
The Community Health Centers of Lane County (CHCLC) is a dynamic, growing organization that has been providing comprehensive primary care and behavioral health services to the citizens of Lane County since 2004. We operate six primary care clinics in which we provide a broad array of services to adults and children. We also provide preventative dental services to children in schools, Head Start, and WIC locations throughout Lane County. CHCLC provides services to approximately 30,000 individuals each year, and is a primary source of care for uninsured and underinsured individuals. CHCLC is a Federally Qualified Health Center whose mission is to serve the community by offering excellent care and eliminating barriers to healthcare.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working in a team environment to provide care to a diverse population with the goal of improving the health and well-being of our community.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Community Health Centers of Lane County is a participant in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with major course work in primary care program for physician assistants.
One year of responsible licensed Physician Assistant experience.
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Special Requirements for this position:
- State of Oregon License as a Physician Assistant including dispensing privileges
- DEA Certificate
- National Board Certification
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- BLS/CPR/First Aid by time of hire
- CV or Resume
- Supervising Physician complete on-line study
- Provide documentation that Oregon Medical Board has accepted the completed supervising physician application
- Immunes/TB test within 10 days of hire
- Cover Letter
This position is subject to a full criminal offender information record check. If fingerprinting is required, the fee is paid for by the successful candidate and the expense is non-reimbursable.
