About the Position
Lane County Behavior Health is looking for a highly trained Mental Health Clinician to fill the role of substance use disorder specialist on our Forensic Intensive Treatment Team (FITT). While focusing on those with substance use disorders, this person will provide mental health screenings, short -term treatment and care coordination services to individuals that have been referred for services by the criminal justice system including law enforcement and the courts.
The work is done collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes mental health clinicians, peer support specialists, case managers, a nurse and psychiatrist as well as partner with other social service providers in the community. This is a mobile position that works remotely and in the community.
For this recruitment we are looking for individuals with a passion to serve adults with severe and persistent mental health needs who are also involved in the criminal justice system. This position requires a CADC and a QMHP Certification. If you are driven to serve, this is the job for you!
About the Division
Lane County Behavioral Health provides services to more than 1,600 individuals with behavioral health conditions. We work with community partners to provide a continuum of care from prevention through treatment and aftercare in an environment that promotes a culture of resilience and recovery.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

Training:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a mental health field, psychology, counseling, social work or a related field.
Experience:
One year of some experience working directly with mentally or emotionally disturbed clients in the provision of behavioral health services is highly desirable.
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
