Job Description

We Have an immediate opening for an Enhancements Department Manager who is energetic, and possess an enthusiastic, strong and stable foundation to lead, inspire and develop staff while representing the core values of the Company. Enhancements Department Manager will direct and Supervise the staff and day to day operations of the Enhancements department to ensure delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales and productivity goals.

We are willing to help relocate to Denver, CO.

Position responsibilities:

  • Lead a team on a culture based on harmony, service, quality, and safety
  • Provide vision and direction, ensuring all team members understand the departments goals and objectives.
  • Build a strong team by developing and implementing clear objectives and leadership skills for your team members.

Customer Service and Retention:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and strive to retain 95% of customer retention.
  • Coach team members to develop long-term relationships and have excellent customer communication
  • Ensure teams are collaborating and effectively coordinating with Account Managers and Business Developers to deliver quality landscaping and fulfilling customer and contractual expectations.

Performance and Quality:

  • Working with other members of management to accurately track department goals and performance.
  • Audit and inspect customers properties for overall job quality
  • Accurately estimate jobs to meet gross margin targets

New Business Development:

  • Collaborate with the Leadership committee to establish budget and new sales goals
  • Actively prospect for potential customers and pursue new business relationships
  • Work with other managers regarding advertising, marketing and growth campaigns


  • Ensure performance standards set based on financial and operational goals on an annual basis are met
  • Ensure your teams accuracy with bid submittals are appropriately priced
  • Ensure billing is completed accurately and on time
  • Ensure company property and materials are well cared for.

Employee Resource Management:

  • Assisting with hiring team members
  • Guide the development and training of staff and set performance and growth plans that are constructive and motivating
  • Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the department
  • Provide recommendations for promotion and salary adjustments

Position requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Landscape Architecture/Construction/ Design/ Horticulture or 5+ years related field experience
  • 3-5 years of management experience
  • Design Skills utilizing Dynascape, Sketch up and Creative Suites and CAD
  • Knowledge in cost and estimating software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Sales experience
  • Be an outgoing and people person that is well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
  • Be able to work well within a team atmosphere who can motivate team members
